Charlie Creek Farm

We always thought eggs might just be the most versatile product that comes off a farm...  From breakfast staple to an athlete's training table - - and from heart-healthy favorites to the absolute best in bakery treats - - it just has to be eggs.  So we set out to find out if - - just if - - we spoiled a bunch of hens... would they, in turn, spoil us with the best-tasting eggs we've ever had?

And it worked!

We built brooders with lots of space for baby chicks to enjoy their infancy.  We built a "middle school" playground for the curious pullets... and we put the adults in comfy accommodations in which they could come and go as they pleased.  We put almost four (4) acres of unrestricted pasture access out the front door and a couple acres of forest in the back... thus creating a thoughtful environment with a seemingly unlimited supply of grass, bugs, worms and seeds!  We gave them plenty of easy access to water and ample protection from predators through the use of rescued alpacas and and an adopted livestock guardian dog.  We also pledged not to utilize unnatural light or heat to prolong the laying season or expedite the rate at which each hen lays her eggs.  In exchange, our 150+ hens of various breeds (and such distinctive colors!) presented us with... well, just take a look at the pictures below!

• Our Always Fresh Eggs are $6.00/Dozen

• From March - October, the Always Fresh Eggs are only available at our Farm Store on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Sales are first-come, first-served.  Arrive early, as demand continuously exceeds supply - - and we cannot squeeze a chicken to get tomorrow's egg today!

• During the "off-season," we will occasionally have Always Fresh Eggs for sale from our front porch.  Please send a note to CharlieCreekFarm@Outlook.com to check availability and make arrangements.
